My family loves making a big deal of football games. For each big game, we plan a fun meal to enjoy during the game. In our house football equals food!
When I want to serve delicious food, but the game falls close to other commitments, Sam’s Club has the perfect solution for our game day meal. I just stop by Sam’s Club Cafe on the way home for the Pizza and Coca-Cola Bundle. The bundle includes a 16 inch pizza, cheesy breadsticks, 6 cookies, and a 2-liter of Coca-Cola for just $13.98 at the Sam’s Club Cafe! Perfect for feeding my whole family, without requiring any time in the kitchen on game day!
Create these fun game day paper goods ahead of time, and party decorating will take only seconds on game day. Even better, clean up is also finished in seconds too! I’m all for Mom enjoying family time on game day rather than spending the game cooking and cleaning!
- brown disposable cups
- brown paper plates
- white duct tape
Cut a 5-inch piece of white duct tape.
Make thinner strips by cutting that strip into several long pieces. I made about 3 thinner strips from each long piece.
Place the thin 5-inch strip down the center of a brown plate.
Cut a 3-inch piece of the white duct tape. Cut this piece into 5 smaller 3-inch long strips. Place 3 strips of white tape on the plates to make football laces.
Next, make football cups.
Cut a strip of white duct tape about 3-inches long. Cut this strip into 3 thinner pieces. Place one piece of 3-inch tape down the center of a brown cup.
Cut a 2-inch piece of duct tape. Now, cut that strip into 5 thinner strips. Place those strips across the cups to form football laces.
That’s it! Now your game day paper goods are ready!
I used my extra white duct tape on a green disposable table-cloth to create a football field. Just evenly space white duct tape down the table for the field. Since my serving table was small, I used strips that were half the width of my duct tape roll. Since duct tape tears easily, cut one long strip of tape, then cut a small notch in the middle (width way) and tear the tape into two thinner pieces.
