Make the Most of a Gorgeous Winter Day

Sharing is caring!

February is here and it’s beginning to feel like winter is dragging on and on. Long, cold winter days begin to make everyone feel cooped up. When cold winter days break for even one day of pleasantly mild temperatures and sunshine, it’s time to drop everything, get outside and celebrate!

We’ve been gifted with several beautiful days among the bitter cold this winter. When the weather is beautiful, we do our best to make the most of the day outside.

How to Make the Most of a Gorgeous Winter Day

Drop the to do list and break for the park.

When winter provides a day of beautiful weather, give yourself permission to let the chores and to-do list slide for the day.

Send out an all call for friends.

Reach out to your community. Send a text, a group private message, email, post to Facebook… or however you can easily get in touch with your community.

Friends are bound to need a day in the sun as much as your family. Choose a central park location and let friends know what time you’ll be there. What could be better than a beautiful winter’s day spent with friends?

Pack a cooler.

Take plenty of water to your park playdate. We often stay at the park much longer than planned when the weather turns beautiful. Having extra water is always a good idea!

Take a party to the park.

Make the day really feel like a party by taking an extra special treat to share with friends.

On our last park playdate my children chose several boxes of Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Chocolate Party Cakes to share with friends. I love that these treats are individually packaged for easy sharing and portability. They make throwing a party on-the-go easy and fun!

These new Chocolate Party Cakes are perfect for chocolate lovers and even have rainbow sprinkles. Entenmann’s® Little Bites® contain no high fructose corn syrup, are made with real ingredients, certified Kosher, and are less than 200 calories per pouch.
