With the release of MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron my children are all Avengers all the time. One advantage to having a big family, is plenty of people to act out nearly all the characters! I never know when Iron Man is going to zoom past me in the kitchen, or if Spiderman will jump from behind a doorway as I walk by these days!

Play Pin the Star on Captain America’s Shield

Tack or tape the Captain America shield onto a door or wall. Place a piece of double sided tape on each star as you hand it to a child. You might want to write the child’s name or initials on the star.

Place a blindfold on the first child. For children whose costume already has a mask, just fold a handkerchief and place it between the child’s eyes and his mask for a blindfold.Pin the Star on Captain America's Shield Party Game

I also made a Spiderman blindfold by folding another handkerchief, and safety pinning it to the back of a Spiderman face mask. This was a quick and easy blindfold both for children whose costumes didn’t have masks and for children who were not dressed in costumes at all.Pin the Star on Captain America's Shield Party Game

Spin the child a few times, and watch him try to pin the star on the shield!Pin the Star on Captain America's Shield Party Game

Repeat with all the party guests. If your party guests are like my children, get ready to repeat the game several times over the course of the event!Pin the Star on Captain America's Shield Party Game
