When it comes to serving lunch after church on Sunday, I’m always looking for a delicious meal that will bring our family together over the table. Since we come in the door from service hungry, I’m always in search of an easy to prepare meal ideas.

Easy Sunday Lunch

For this delicious meal, simply prepare the Creamy Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese the night before, then put the Slow Cooker pot in the refrigerator until morning. Before church, place the dish in the slow cooker, and turn it to low. Next place the Smithfield Roasted Garlic and Cracked Black Pepper Tenderloin in the oven, and set the oven timer according to the package directions. Ingredients:Creamy Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese

  • 16 oz box elbow macaroni
  • 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups (8 ozs) colby jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups (8 ozs) cheddar cheese, shredded
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Prepare slow cooker by spraying with cooking spray.

Cook elbow macaroni to al dente, drain, and place in slow cooker.Creamy Slow Cooker Macaroni and CheeseMix in milk and evaporated milk.

  2. That looks delicious. I haven’t made pasta, except for lasagna, in my slow cooker. I love how yours is all ooey gooey cheesy… That’s the way I like it. Cheese with an extra side of cheesy.
