Thanks to Gramma and Gramps, we got to spend a long weekend at the beach with Rob’s whole family. I only braved taking my camera to the beach for a few hours the first morning- the weather turned beautiful that afternoon and I choose playing over shooting photos. The second day, rain threatened all day, so I left the camera in the condo. It was such a treat to watch
The children and I met cousins for our first trip to a strawberry patch. Each spring, I’ve considered picking strawberries, but instead we’ve bought our berries from a nearby farm stand. After our experience strawberry picking I doubt the children will agree to a quick stop for pre-picked berries in the future. At the strawberry patch, the farmer gave the children a lesson on how to choose the best berries. They listened carefully and only picked perfectly ripe berries and the result
On Palm Sunday we had our annual Easter party at Gramma and Gramps’ house. Gramps mows the grass in paths leaving many patches of tall grass between the paths to hide the Easter eggs. The 12 cousins have the best time hunting eggs, playing games for prizes and eating all the yummy snacks Gramma prepares.
