I really enjoy making fun bento lunches for my children whenever I can. As homeschoolers, we don’t get the opportunity to pack our lunches often, so I love to have fun with the packing when we head out for an adventure.

This week we will meet new friends at the park for bicycle riding, playground time, and swimming. The kids will need a lunch capable of fueling that kind of play, so I created a #FuelTheirAdventure Bento box!

I knew I wanted to use these adorable bottles of Dannon® Danimals®, which are just begging for a sports theme bento box. My children adore the cuteness and the flavor of Dannon® Danimals®. While, I know they have Only the Good Stuff® since they contain zero high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors or colors…plus they are a good source of calcium and vitamin D. What a great way to help fuel my kids’ adventures!

This bento box is my favorite type- super fun, yet quick and easy to put together. No fancy tools (except a food safe marker) or artistic ability needed! Let me show you just what you need and how to make it.

  1. This year I got smart with my kids lunches and started packing Bentos. A little bit of a lot – so I know something will tempt them. I didn’t know about the food markers. I’ll have to look for those. My daughter loves her Dannon Danimal Smoothies in her lunch!

  2. Is it wrong that I want that for myself! I really am a Bento box kind of person. Always nibbling through lunch. And this is perfect. Especially the yogurt. The protein alone keeps me going for the rest of the day.

  3. Wow this is genius. I love love love this for a sport party (kids or adults) I’m going to share this with my male friend for sport gatherings. ..this could be so much fun(game) like who can eat the most baseballs lolzz

  4. Where did you get this particular bento box? I need to find a backup for the one my son currently has and this looks perfect!

  5. This looks really nice if refrigerated but not for school or if will be sitting even a couple of hrs. I’d be worried for cold cuts or fruit being left out.

    1. An ice pack or two in the lunchbox is the perfect solution for schools or outings. Or, when you have a family as big as mine, we take a whole cooler to feed the crew!
