How to Make a Flying Dragon Bookmark
List of Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Cardstock paper
- Pencil
- A pair of scissors
- Craft glue
- Markers
Instructions:
Download and print out the dragon bookmark template. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select cardstock paper for the bookmark part and regular craft papers for the dragon pattern.
Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out nicely using scissors.
Attach the wing border cutouts along the top edge of the wing bases.
Apply a drop of glue on the inner end of a wing and attach it to the body cutout, closer to the head.
Similarly, attach the other wing piece.
Use markers to add outlines and details to your dragon.
Cut out a cardstock strip of about 1/2 an inch by 8 inches.
Fold the strip in half, lengthwise.
Fold about an inch of the open end of the folded strip down.
Unfold the last fold and fold the ends to opposite directions along the crease lines.
Apply glue along the inside of that pice to connect the sides together. Leave the wings you just folded free of glue.
Attach the papercraft dragon to the top of the bookmark as shown below.
