Sanderson Sisters Hocus Pocus Craft

Pretend to be the Sanderson Sisters with these fun Hocus Pocus Crafts. You’ll find free printable templates for the Hocus Pocus puppets and step by step instructions for each sister below.
How to make Sarah Sanderson
Supplies for Sarah Sanderson:
- Colored craft papers
- Pencil – to trace the template
- Craft glue
- Marker or gel pen
- Popsicle sticks
- Sarah template
Instructions:
Download and print out the Sarah template. Cut out all of the template pieces.
Select colored craft papers for Sarah.
Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut out the traced patterns.
Cut a slit along the line on the hair.
Insert the top of the head cutout through the slit from below and apply glue to attach the hair to the head.
Use a marker or gel pen to draw Sarah’s face as shown below.
Attach the hand cutouts onto the sleeve cutouts.
Attach the 2 skirt detail pieces on to the bottom of the skirt.
Attach purple cutout along the middle part of the dress piece.
Attach the head on the top of the dress.
Attach the arms on both sides of the dress to complete Sarah.
Step 10: (Final Image)
Attach the papercraft Sarah figure to a popsicle stick to complete the puppet craft.
How to Make Winifred Sanderson
Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Pencil
- Craft glue
- Marker or gel pen
- Popsicle stick
- Winifred template
Instructions:
Download and print the Winifred template. Cut out all of the template pieces.
Select colored craft papers for the Winifred Sanderson sister.
Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut out the traced pattern.
Cut a slit along the line along the top side of the hair piece.
Slide the top part of the head cutout through the slit from below and apply glue to attach the hair and the head pieces together.
Use a marker or gel pen to draw the face of Winifred.
Attach the hand cutouts to the sleeve cutouts.
Attach the front part of the dress onto the larger dress piece.
Attach the collar cutout on the bottom side of the head.
Attach the head on top of the dress piece.
Attach the arms to either side of the dress.
Attach Winifred to a popsicle stick to complete the puppet craft.
How to make Mary Sanderson
Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Pencil
- Craft glue
- Marker or gel pen
- Popsicle stick
- Mary template
Instructions:
Download and print out the Mary template. Cut out all of the template pattern pieces.
Select colored craft papers for Mary Sanderson.
Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut out the patterns nicely.
Cut slit along the line inside the hair pattern. Insert the top of the head cutout through the slit from below.
Apply glue to attach the hair and the head patterns together.
Use a marker or gel pen to draw the face onto Mary.
Attach the hand cutouts to the sleeve cutouts.
Attach the yellow strip cutouts on the top part of the dresses shown below.
Attach the top part of the dress onto the larger dress cutout.
Attach the head on top of the dress.
Attach the arms on either side of the dress.
Attach the papercraft Mary figure to a popsicle stick to complete the puppet craft.
