I may be a busy mom of 6, whose at home uniform is usually old jeans with a tank top or flannel, but I love beautiful clothes. Now that my youngest is two, I’m getting out without the kids more often. My going out clothes were in serious need of an overhaul. Thanks to a package of beautiful clothes from HarperTrends, now my biggest problem is figuring out which outfit to wear when I go out! Let me show you what I got…
Piece #1 – Charlotte Lace Kimono I really love this delicate lace kimono. I find it so versatile. When I’m short on time this kimono dresses up my usual jeans and a tank… just throw it on, freshen my makeup, and chose some cute shoes. I’m looking forward to adding this kimono to solid sundresses this summer also.
Piece #2 – The Perfect Palazzo Pant These palazzo pants are the perfect choice for days when comfort and style need to merge. Wearing this pants feels like wearing my pajama pants out of the house! I can’t think of a place I wouldn’t wear these pants. From church, to networking events, parties, or shopping, they are a great choice. The only problem I found with these pants is that they are really long. I love that HarperTrends lists the measurements of the model on each item’s page. I failed to think about the fact that pants the perfect length for a 5 foot 9 inch model are probably going to be too long for me! Rolling the waist of the pants down once, and wearing heeled sandals was the perfect solution to that problem. I could definitely hem them, but I don’t want to lose the pretty detail on the bottom!
Piece #3 – Très Beau Lace Coverup This white lace coverup is almost too pretty to use as a bathing suit coverup! I love the fun detail of cut-out shoulders and the high low hemline. I’m wearing this one right now as a great spring transition piece, later this summer I’ll use it as a bathing suit coverup for parties and gatherings.
Piece #4 – Minty Fresh Shirt Dress This is my favorite piece from my HarperTrends haul. This dress is the perfect shade of minty turquoise, and the lace detailing at the shoulders and sleeves make a simply cut dress gorgeous. This is my go-to for a night on the town. Date night, girls night out, or a concert… it’s always the perfect choice. I’m wearing a pair of fun booties with this dress for spring, but I also love it with strappy heels. I’m already planning to wear it to my next country concert with a pair of cowboy boots.
The length of the dress is perfect, with a slight high low hem. Just long enough to be cute without being trashy for a night on the town, yet short enough to pair with a pair of skinny jeans for cooler evenings.
I’m loving all my new outfits from HarperTrends!
