10 months old

Emily turned 10 months old today!

Emily is learning new things everyday right now.  She is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything.  She can wave and say “Bye-bye” and she also claps and says, “yeah.”  She also says Dada and uh-oh.  She shakes her head no when she does something she knows she isn’t supposed to do and will shake her head no if she isn’t happy or doesn’t want something.  She is still uninterested in eating real food.  She loves to dance to music; I call her my little Pentecostal since she loves to sway and throw her hand up in the air when we are listening to worship music.

I can’t even begin to describe what a joy Emily is to all of us.  She may be a tad bit rotten since she generally has 6 people ready and willing to keep her happy and entertained.  The “uh-oh” game is such fun when you have plenty of older siblings to rotate through so that no one gets tired of the endless picking up and returning of the thrown object.
