Back to school season is always a whirlwind isn’t it? Getting back into routine is hard on the whole family. Even as a homeschooling family this time of year is crazy for us as we try to stay on top of school work, extracurriculuars, and the rest of life. This year I discovered Applebee’s Carside to Go and it is a lifesaver! With a huge menu of delicious choices, the whole family is always happy with their dinner. This is definitley going to be my go to dinner choice for our busiest nights this school year. I can simply order our dinner and pick it up when I’m in town after running errands or between extracurricular drop offs. Placing an order is easy- you can call your local Applebee’s resturant, order online at the Applebee’s website, or through the Applebee’s mobile app. My favorite feature of Carside to Go is that I can choose for my order to be ready ASAP, or I can schedule ahead for a convienient pick up time. When you order you’ll enter your vehicle make, model and color to help the Applebee’s team find your car and park in the designated Carside to Go spots and wait for an Applebee’s team member to deliver your order right to your car. Real food with fast food convience, yes please! I’ve already used Carside to Go twice this month! Living out in the country, running errands is a long affair. I love being able to pick up our dinner on the way home from running errands. The kids are quick to unload the van and put away groceries knowing that Applebee’s dinner is waiting for them. Plus, on nice evenings we can eat outside at the picnic table and keep the kitchen completely clean! Yay! Look at some of the delicious meals we’ve chosen: Youth group night is always a challenging night. We live far enough away from church that going back home between drop off and pick up is silly. As a single mom, I don’t have the option of one adult staying home with the little kids while the other deals with driving to and from youth group. Applebee’s Carside to Go has made Wednesday night so much better. At lunch on Wednesday I let the little kids choose their dinner from the Applebee’s app. They can see photos of what they are ordering, so I never have to deal with the “But I wanted….” complaints when we pick up our order. I schedule our order to be ready a few minutes after youth group drop off. Then the little kids and I grab our dinner and go spend a few hours at the park. We eat a great meal, then the kids play while I get some work done. It makes for a very pleasant evening for all of us! Have you tried Applebee’s Carside to Go yet? Be sure to use the code “5off25” to get $5 off of your first $25+ order!
