Instructions:

To create the burger patty, line up three jumbo craft sticks on your work surface. Using scissors, trim additional jumbo craft sticks to the width of the burger patty and attach with glue.

*We used a glue gun and glue sticks for the tutorial, but you can use liquid glue if you prefer.

Paint the burger patty with dark brown craft paint.

Pounce paint on the craft sticks with the end of the bristles to create a “ground beef” texture.

Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.

Download, print, and cut out the cheeseburger patterns.

Trace the bun patterns onto tan craft felt.

Cut out the bun patterns with scissors. Make sure to cut inside the traced lines so you end up with a clean finished project.

Trace the cheese pattern onto yellow craft felt. Trace the tomato patterns onto red craft felt. Trace the lettuce pattern onto green craft felt.

Cut out all the patterns with scissors. Make sure to cut inside the traced lines so you end up with a clean finished project.

Attach the top and bottom bun patterns onto the craft stick burger patty with glue.

Glue the lettuce at the base of the bottom bun. Glue the two tomatoes to the base of the top bun, then attach the cheese over top of the tomatoes.

Attach two wiggle eyes with glue. Cut out two circles from pink craft felt and glue to either side of the eyes for the cheeks.

Draw a smile from cheek to cheek with a black marker. Outline the top and bottom burger buns with a brown marker.
