DIY Flower Pot Snack for Your Daughter’s Next Get Together

I love the sounds of laughter when my girls are enjoying time with friends. Friends are such a blessing for girls, especially during the preteen years. When we entertain friends my girls often ask to do something special for the get together.
This week we dreamed up these fun “If friends were flowers I’d pick you” flower pots that turn into a delicious ‘walking taco’ snack to enjoy while they chat with their girlfriends.
Oh how I remember the days of my best friend and I choosing wonderful, sugary treats, closing ourselves into a bedroom and lounging on the bed stuffing our faces and chatting about all things. I love watching as my girls are entering this stage!
My oldest and I are going to show you just how to create these fun and yummy DIY Flower Pot Walking Taco Snacks.
Make them with your daughter for the next afternoon her friends are visiting. Then enjoy the sounds of their laughter while creating the walking taco and their voices as they gab over their snack.
DIY Flower Pot Supplies:
- duct tape in fun colors
- cardstock printable “If friends were flowers I’d pick you”
- thin ribbon or burlap
- fake flowers
- NABISCOGo-Paks!

Grab your NABISCO Go-Paks! at Walmart where they are easy to buy in bulk at about $1 each.

Directions:
Cut out the “if friends were flowers…” hang tag, and punch a hole in the top.
Wrap a NABISCO Go-Paks! with duct tape. At the same time, turn a gift tag over and write the type of cookie in the flower pot if you’ve chosen an assortment of flavors. 
Put a ribbon through the tag, and tie it to the flower pot. Cut a slit into the NABISCO Go-Paks! top and insert a few fake flowers (we put 3 flowers in each pot)
Next, set out your walking taco snack supplies and get ready for the girls to sweep in and create their snack!
Walking Taco Ingredients:
- DIY Flower Pot NABISCO Go-Paks! (Since these cups won’t leak and are only about half-full they are the perfect choice for this snack!)
- Snack Pack® Pudding Cups
- Reddi Wip Original
Directions:
Open the Flower Pots, spoon in a Snack Pack® Pudding Cups and top with Reddi Wip Original. EAT!
Now, enjoy the sounds of preteen girls (and little sisters) chatting and laughing with each other over a yummy snack.

That walking taco is just so wrong!! But it looks good and is perfect for a ‘not so messy’ treat on the go. I may have to surprise my boys with them. But I think next to the flower I may add a gummy worm to get that gross boy effect.
