Fun Ways To Celebrate Star Wars Day

Sharing is caring!

May the 4th be with you! Happy (almost) Star Wars Day.

I’m always up for making a fun theme day for my kids. Especially since we are spending so much extra time at home these days. One great way to differentiate all the endless days that run together is by celebrating some fun holidays we never even knew existed before.

Since my entire family is all about Star Wars right now, we are going to take full advantage of Star Wars Day on May 4th. In fact, we will probably have a whole week of Star Wars fun to celebrate!

What is Star Wars Day?

Star Wars Day is also known as Jedi day. The play on words of May the fourth and “may the force be with you” is the reason Star Wars Day is on May 4th every year.

Basically, its just an excuse to celebrate all things Star Wars! Yay!

You can start at the beginning of the Star Wars era and watch all 11 movies in order of theatrical release date, or you could choose to watch the movies in chronological order.

You can also have a Star Wars cartoon marathon. Disney+ will be releasing the series finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars on May 4th this year. All my kids elementary to middle school have throughly enjoyed this series!
