How to make a Llama Puppet

Supplies:

  • Colored craft papers
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Craft glue
  • Colored markers or gel pens
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Template

Directions:

Print and cut out the llama puppet template.

Choose the colored papers you’d like to use for your llama. A thick construction paper or cardstock is best for the llama’s body to make him sturdy enough to play with.

Trace and cut out the parts of the llama onto the colored papers you’ve chosen.

Glue the hooves onto the bottom of the llama’s legs.

Next, put the llama’s saddle together by glueing the small saddle piece onto the big saddle piece.

Now, glue the the flower onto the middle of the saddle.

Glue the saddle onto the llama’s body.

Add the hassles to the saddle by glueing the small triangles onto the edge of the saddle.

Glue the nose on your llama.

Add the details to your llama with markers or colored pens as shown below.

Glue the llama puppet onto the popsicle stick to finish your puppet.
