How to Make an Paper Plate Astronaut Craft
Supplies
- Colored craft papers
- Template
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- A pair of scissors
- Paper plate
Download and print out the pattern. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select colored craft papers and a medium sized paper plate for the astronaut helmet craft. Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out.
Take the antenna cutout and glue it to one of the communicator device cutouts. Glue the glass shine cutout to the helmet glass cutout.
Select a paper plate, and place it on your work surface upside down.
Glue the glass base of the helmet to the bottom flat side of the paper plate as shown below.
Glue the helmet base under the bottom edge of the plate.
Glue the communicator device cutouts on both sides of the paper plate as shown below.
Use markers to trace outlines on the pieces of the helmet.
