Use a marker or pen to trace outlines on the robe to add more detail.
Glue the hand onto the robe.
Cut a small slit along the inner sleeve of Jesus’ robe.
Insert the sleeve over the neck of the donkey to attach the Jesus figure to the donkey.
Select a paper plate and blue and green colored craft papers. The green paper will represent grass or earth, and the blue paper will represent the sky.
*If you’d prefer, you can paint or color the plates, instead of using colored papers for this step.
Cover the top half of the paper plate with the blue craft paper.
Cover the bottom half of the plate with the green paper.
Use markers or a pen to draw Jesus’ face. Add a beard with a scrap of paper, or a marker.
Attach Jesus sitting on the donkey to the paper plate with glue.
