You will also need:

INSTRUCTIONS:
Download the witch cat pattern.
Print out the pattern pieces.
*You can print the file straight to heavy black cardstock, then you won’t have to trace and cut the mechanism as patterns.
If you prefer print the pattern file onto regular printer paper, simply cut out all the pieces and use them as patterns to trace on pieces heavy cardstock and glitter cardstock.
Here is how to cut out the cut out all of the pattern pieces:
If you are using a lighter weight cardstock (65lbs or less), you can optionally cut out both copies of pattern piece #1, and use a glue stick to glue them together for added strength. Punch a hole in the center of pieces #1 and #2.
If using glitter cardstock, use pattern pieces #4-#12 as stencils. Draw around the pattern pieces onto the back of the glitter cardstock, and cut the pieces out. To create the witch cat as shown, cut pattern pieces #4, #5, and #10 from black glitter cardstock, piece #6 from purple glitter cardstock, pieces #7 and #9 from green glitter cardstock, piece #8 from gold glitter cardstock, and pieces #11 and #12 from orange glitter cardstock.
(If you are using glitter cardstock with white backing, you can optionally use a marker to color the back of the cardstock pieces to match the front side.)

To build the candy dispenser mechanism, begin by connecting pieces #1 and #2 together using a paper fastener. Fold the arms of the paper fastener flat against piece #2, and use a small piece of tape to hold them in place.
Glue pattern piece #3 over the arms of the paper fastener to hide them, taking care to align the pieces so the hole of the dispenser mechanism is not covered.

Use hot glue to attach the plastic half-dome ornament to the top of the cardstock candy dispenser mechanism.
To ensure it works correctly, attach the plastic half-dome ornament to mechanism piece #3 (the side without the visible paper fastener head).

Place piece #4 over the top of the ornament dome, and attach it in place using hot glue.

Create the cat face by attaching the wiggle eyes, ears (piece #11), and nose (piece #12) to body piece #5 using hot glue.

Fold the cat body piece (#5) along the dotted lines, so that the front and back sides of the head meet. Glue the two sides of the head together.

Use hot glue to attach the cat body piece to the candy dome dispenser.

Assemble the witch hat as shown, using glue to attach the hat band (piece #7) and buckle (pieces #8 and #9) to the hat (piece #6).

Glue the hat to the top of the cat’s head.
Attach the cat’s tail (piece #10) to the back of the candy dispenser using hot glue.

Turn over the ornament and fill it with candy. Close the dispenser.
