Felt Ghost Craft for Halloween
These cute little felt ghost ornaments are a fun Halloween craft for kids.
How to make Ghost Ornaments for Halloween
List of Supplies:
- Colored felt fabric
- Matching threads
- Needle
- Scissors
- Pencil – to trace the template

Instructions:
Download and print out the ghost template. Cut out all of the template pattern pieces.
Select white, pink and black felt fabrics for the ghost ornament craft. Trace and cut out the template patterns from the felt. Be sure to cut out two ghost bodies from white felt.
Take one of the eye cutouts and one of the base cutouts. Place the eye cutout on the base and use a white thread to stitch a small dot on the eye, making sure to stitch through the base along with the eye cutout.
Similarly, stitch the other eye onto the ghost’s body, and use a black thread to stitch the mouth of the ghost.
Use matching thread to stitch the pink blush cutouts on both cheeks of the felt ghost.
Place the other base cutout on a flat surface and place the arm cutouts on either side of the base.
Place the stitched ghost pattern on the top of the plain one, keeping the arm cutouts between the 2 base layers.
Stitch around the sides to join the base pieces together. Leave a small opening and stuff the ghost figure through the small opening. Use cotton batting or scrap felt to stuff the felt ghost pattern.
Once you’re done stuffing the felt ghost, stitch the opening to secure the stuffing. Tie a knot or 2 and then cut off extra thread if necessary.
Cut out a small piece of ribbon and make a loop with it. Attach the open ends of the ribbon loop with the backside of the felt ghost plush to complete the Halloween ghost ornament.
