Patriotic Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

Sharing is caring!

Adorable cupcakes your children will love at their 4th of July celebrations!

The best thing about this adorable cupcake is that they are so easy to make that your kids can help. Also, the ice cream cone makes this recipe a perfect choice for serving to children! No messy cupcake wrappers to remove.

These Patriotic cone cupcakes are really simple since they use a box cake mix and store bought frosting. Of course, if you have a favorite from scratch cake mix or frosting, feel free to use those instead! The real key to these adorable cupcakes is baking the batter inside an ice cream cone.

Buy red ice cream cones if you can. You’ll be able to make between 18 and 20 cone cupcakes with one box of cake mix. These are from the Joy brand. But, if you can’t find red, your frosting will still make these cupcakes festive!
