How to make a Peacock Bookmark Craft
List of Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Pencil – to trace patterns
- A pair of scissors
- Marker
- Craft glue
- Template
Instructions:
Print the peacock bookmark template. You’ll notice a choice sizes for your peacock. Cut out all of the template pattern pieces for the size peacock you’d like to make..
Select colored craft papers you’d like to use for the peacock craft.
Trace and cut out the patterns.
Attach the small teardrop cutouts on the bigger teardrop cutouts to make the tail pattern pieces.
Attach the teardrop tail feather patterns onto the tail feather base, near the scalloped border side.
Place a teardrop tail feather on each scallop on the tail’s base.
Attach the leg cutouts on the bottom of the body cutout.
Attach the beak cutout on the head.
Apply glue on a small portion of the top of the wing. Glue the wing to the peacock’s body. Be sure to leave the bottom part of the wing without glue so that it remains unattached from the peacock’s body.
Glue the other wing onto the body the same way.
Use a marker to draw the eyes of the peacock and to trace wing outlines.
Attach the peacock body onto the tail feather piece, right in the middle of the tail.
After the bookmark dries completely, use the peacock as a bookmark by inserting a page between the wing and the body part of the peacock.
