How to Make a Handprint Christmas Gnome Craft

Materials:

- Jumbo Craft Sticks
- Glitter Glue- Red and Green
- Craft Glue or Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Pom Poms
- Craft Paint – Green &Red
- Cardstock – Green, Red, White, & Tan
- Scissors
- Paintbrush
- Pencil
- Printed Pattern
Instructions:
To make the gnome hat, create a triangle with three jumbo craft sticks on your work surface, and secure at the corners with glue.
TIP: We used a glue gun and glue sticks for this tutorial, but you can use liquid craft glue for this project if you prefer.

Paint one hat with green craft paint, and the other with red craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.

Download, print, and cut out the gnome patterns.
Trace the hat pattern once onto green cardstock, and once onto red cardstock with a pencil.

Cut out the gnome hat patterns with scissors.

Glue the two triangles of cardstock onto the back of the corresponding craft stick triangle.

Trace four handprints onto white cardstock with a pencil.

Cut out the gnome beard handprint patterns with scissors.

Attach two hands to the bottom of each gnome hat with glue.

Trace two nose patterns onto tan cardstock with a pencil.

Cut out the gnome nose patterns with scissors.

Glue the gnome nose to the center of where the hat meets the beard.

Cut random strips of red and green cardstock with scissors.

Glue the red strips to the green hat the green strips to the red hat.


Glue a pom pom to the top of each gnome hat.

To finish, accent the red stripes with red glitter glue, and the green stripes with green glitter glue. Set aside to dry.
