How to make a Lorax craft for Seuss Week
List of Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Pencil – to trace the template
- Craft glue
- Markers
- A pair of scissors
- Template
Instructions:
Download and print out the Lorax template. Cut out of the the template pattern pieces.
Select white, yellow, pink and 2 different shades of orange colored craft papers for the Lorax bookmark craft.
Trace the template patterns onto the colored papers.
Cut out all of the pieces.
Use a marker to add details to the Lorax’s eyes.
Attach the mustache cutout along the middle of the head cutout.
Attach the mouth cutout right below the mustache.
Attach the eye cutouts onto the head, above the mustache.
Attach the nose on top of the mustache cutout.
Use a piece of square paper (approximately 6 inches square) to make an origami corner bookmark. If you don’t know how to fold an origami bookmark, this post will teach you how to fold the square paper into the origami bookmark.
Attach the Lorax head onto the square side of the origami bookmark.
Allow the glue to dry, then you can use the craft as a corner bookmark!
