Harry Potter Craft – Paper Bag Puppet

Download and print out the Harry Potter template. Cut out all of the template pattern pieces.

Select colored craft papers for the paper bag Harry Potter puppet pattern.

Trace the template patterns on the chosen craft papers and cut them out nicely.

Glue the hand cutouts to the sleeve cutouts.

Attach the hair cutout on the top of the head cutout.

Use a red marker to add stripes to the scarf.

Use a pencil to draw the face details onto Harry Potter’s face. Add his eyes, glasses, nose, mouth and the mark on the forehead.

Next we will cover the paper bag, making a shirt and pants for Harry.

Cut two pieces of colored craft paper- one to cover the top half of the bag and night to cover the bottom half of the bag.

Glue the shirt and trouser cutouts together. The joined pattern should cover the paper bag completely.

Attach the two sides of the coat on either side of the attached shirt and pants.

Glue the arms on either side of Harry’s body.

Use a marker to trace the pencil lines on Harry’s Face.

Attach the scarf on the bottom edge of the head.

Glue Harry Potter’s face onto the flap of the paper bag.

Glue Harry Potter’s body onto the underside of the paper bag.

Glue the shoe cutouts on the bottom of Harry Potter’s pants. Draw a line with a dark marker between the shoes to make Harry’s pants.
