Spread Cheer this Christmas with a Fun New Tradition

Christmas, Seasonal

Christmas-time is all about memory making and tradition for my family. With our many changes in the past few years, I’m looking for a few new traditions that fit our family dynamics. When I heard about the #SpreadCheer movement I knew it was the perfect tradition to add to our Christmas plans.Spread Cheer #SpreadCheer

What is #SpreadCheer? It’s all about celebrating Christmas by giving to others. Since BOOing was such a hit for my kids I knew that #SpreadCheer would be another hit for us.

Just package up some Christmas goodies, add the #SpreadCheer printable (plus download some cute printable gift tags), place the goodies on a neighbor’s porch, knock, and RUN!Spread Cheer #SpreadCheer

My little girl needed some extra one-on-one time, so I thought this new tradition was the perfect way to create new memories with her.

We whipped up a batch of Betty Crocker cookies (grab a .50 cents off coupon here) and created #SpreadCheer gifts for our loved ones.Spread Cheer #SpreadCheer
I love using Betty Crocker mixes on days like this. When I’m concentrating on my girl, a quick & easy cookie mix is the perfect way to concentrate on her and not a complicated recipe. Plus, the easy mix allowed Peyton to be the cook and Mommy just a helper.Spread Cheer #SpreadCheer

Are you ready to start this fun new tradition with your family? #SpreadCheer to your neighbors, at the nursing home, or even mail a gift basket to a college student! Don’t forget your coupon and printable. Plus, enter below for $20 PayPal cash for your #SpreadCheer supplies!

Share how your Spread Cheer experience on your social media channels with the hashtag #SpreadCheer. Leave me a link to your social posts in the comments, I’d love to see your experience!giveaway

One lucky winner will receive $20 PayPal Cash!

This sweepstakes is open to US residents over the age of 18.

It starts right now and ends December 29th, 2015 at 11:59 pm EST.

There are a lot of people that need extra cheer this time of year. You mentioned one that comes to mind—people in nursing homes. We should all set aside some time to spread the cheer. 🙂

It is a wonderful idea to spread cheer to others without expecting a direct benefit in return. It is a good habit to teach children and to develop in ourselves.

Baking cookies with my kids is such a great way to spend time together. We do it every Christmas too. Betty Crocker mixes are great since the kids can do it themselves.
