How to Make a Dinosaur Bookmark

Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Craft glue
- Markers
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Printed template
Instructions:
Download and print out the dinosaur bookmark template. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select 2 or 3 different shades of green colored craft papers for T-Rex hug bookmarks.
Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out using scissors.
Trace the head, arms and body on one paper, the scales on one paper and the belly pattern on another shade of paper.
Attach the short scale cutout along the top edge of the head cutout. Attach the front belly cutout near the top edge of the body cutout.
Take an arm cutout and apply glue along the top end of the arm cutout. Be sure to only glue the very edge, so that the rest of the arm is free to hug a book page.
Attach the other arm similarly.
Attach the long scale cutout along the curved back of the dinosaur.
Attach the head on the top edge of the body cutout. Use a marker or black gel pen to draw the eyes, nose and mouth on the T-Rex.
After the glue dries, slip a page of a book between the dinosaurs body and it’s arms.
