- Template
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- Paper bag
- Markers
Instructions:
Download and print out the template patterns, select colored craft papers and a paper bag for the Yoshi puppet craft.
Trace the patterns on the selected colored craft papers and cut them out.
Take the head pattern cutouts. Glue the eye base cutout to the eye part of the head cutout.
Glue the cheek cutout (white part of the head) to the cheek part of the head.
Glue the front part of the face (round, green cutout) to the front, round part of the head. Glue the scale cutout to the back edge of the head.
Use markers to draw the face on to Yoshi.
Select a paper bag and prepare a green paper big enough to cover a side of the paper bag.
Glue the belly cutout to the green paper rectangle.
Glue the green rectangle paper to the paper bag, under the flap.
Glue Yoshi’s head to the flap of the paper bag.
Glue the tail and the shell cutouts to the opposite side of the paper bag
Glue the shoe cutouts to the bottom edge of the paper bag.
