He is Risen Easter Craft for Kids

List of Supplies:

  • Colored craft papers
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Markers
  • Paper plate
  • Printed template

Instructions:

Download, print, and cut out the template patterns.

The template includes patterns for a rising sun, a cross, a hill, and a piece of cloth. Select colored craft papers for each pattern and trace them using a pencil. Use scissors to cut out the traced patterns.

Apply small drops of glue along the round edge of the sun.

Attach the sun ray cutouts to the glued edge of the sun.

Assemble the cross by glueing the two straight strips together as shown below.

Attach the U-shaped cloth cutout to the middle of the cross.

Attach the two rectangular cloth cutouts behind the cross, at the outer edges of the U-shaped cloth.

Glue the cross to the top of the hill cutout.

Take a paper plate and select two pieces of colored craft paper, one green and one blue. Cut each paper to fit one half of the paper plate. Glue the pieces to the plate.

If you prefer, you can paint or color the sky and grass on the paper plate.

Attach the rising sun to the blue part of the paper plate.

Attach the cross on the hill cutout onto the ground section of the paper plate. Allow the glue to dry.
