How to Make a Thanksgiving Garland
Supplies:
- Colored cardstock papers and/or craft papers
- Pencil
- Craft glue
- A pair of scissors
- Markers
- String, ribbon, or yarn
- Printed Thanksgiving garland template
Instructions:
Download, print and cut out the template patterns for the thanksgiving garland.
Select colored cardstock papers or thick craft papers for the patterns.
Trace the template patterns on the selected papers and cut them out using scissors.
Glue the stem cutout on the top edge of the oval part pumpkin piece.
Glue the oval pumpkin piece in the middle of the larger pumpkin cutout.
Glue the buckle cutout in the middle of the hat band cutout.
Glue the hatband on to the hat cutout.
Glue the top acorn cap onto the acorn piece.
Glue the top of the pie onto the pie crust.
Use markers to add borders to the maple leaf cutouts.
Use markers to add outlines to the hat.
Use markers to add outlines to the acorn and the pie pieces.
Also add outlines to the pumpkins.
Measure and cut out strings, ribbon, or yarn strands to make the garland.
Turn the Thanksgiving items over, then glue or tape the back of the Thanksgiving items onto the garland string.
Once you’re happy with the garland, you can turn it to the right side and hang it on a wall.
