These Santa & Mrs. Claus gnomes are a festive Christmas decoration that kids can make. They can also paste their Christmas gnomes on the front of a card to make a fun Christmas card.

How to Make Paper Gnome Santas

List of Supplies

  • Colored craft papers
  • Pencil
  • Craft glue
  • A pair of scissors
  • Markers
  • Template

Instructions:

Download and print out the Santa Gnome Template. Cut out all of the pattern pieces.

Select red, white and pink colored craft papers for the Mr. and Mrs. Clause Gnome craft.

Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out using a pair of scissors.

Glue the nose cutout on the mustache cutout.

Glue the mustache and nose onto the top edge of the beard cutout.

Attach the hat border cutout along the top edge of the beard cutout, just behind the nose.

Attach the small round pompom cutout on the santa gnome base, at the tip of the hat part.

Attach the shoe cutouts along the bottom edge of the santa gnome base. 

Cut a slit along the marked lines of the buckle and insert the belt cutout through the slits to make the paper belt for the Santa gnome. 

Attach the belt along the belly part of the Santa gnome base.

Attach the hat brim and beard piece in the middle of Santa’s body. Be sure that the hat part and the belt part of the red base is visible on each side.

For the Mrs. Claus puppet, attach the pompom and the shoes like we did for the Santa gnome.

Attach the braid cutouts on both sides of the hat border and attach the nose cutout onto the head cutout.

Attach the hat brim and braid along the top edge of the head piecen. Keep the nose to the front of the hat brim.

Attach the head in the middle of the Mrs. Claus base piece to complete the Mrs. Claus gnome craft. 

Aren’t your Mr. and Mrs. Clause gnomes just the cutest?!
