Instructions for Felt Strawberry:
Download and print out the felt ghost pattern. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select different colored felt fabrics for the felt ghost pattern including white felt.
Use a pencil or fabric marker to trace the template patterns on the selected felt fabrics and cut them out using scissors.
Cut slits along 2 opposite sides of the belt buckle cutout. Insert the hat belt strip through the slits as shown in the picture.
Use fabric glue, or a few small stitches to attach the belt to a hat cutout.
Place the two hat cutouts together and prepare a needle with matching thread. Work flat blanket stitches or running stitches along the sides to connect both hat pieces.
Glue or stitch the oval cutout along the middle of the pumpkin cutout.
Glue or stitch the handle cutout on the top edge to complete the pumpkin basket piece.
Glue or stitch the eyes onto one of the ghost cutouts.
Use black thread or a permanent marker to add a mouth to the ghost’s face.
Use a pink marker or a small piece of pink felt to add blush spots on the cheeks, below the eyes, if you’d like.
Place the two ghost cutouts on top of one another.
Place the arm cutouts on either side of the top ghost.
Prepare a needle with white thread and stitch around the sides of the ghost. Keep a small opening for stuffing. We are using cotton batting for stuffing.
Once the stuffing is done, close the opening and secure the thread by a few knots. Cut off extra thread.
Attach the felt pumpkin between the arms of the ghost with a few stitches or fabric glue.
Also, attach the felt hat to the top of the ghost with glue or a few stitches.
