DIY Poinsettia Flower Pen
Supplies:
- ballpoint pen
- poinsettia flowers
- gold glitter washi tape
- glue gun and scissors
Directions: Remove the end of the pen. Some pens you must pry or cut off the end. Buy this type of pen if possible, the end is easy to unscrew. Pull the ink tube out and cut off about 1/4th an inch of the tube off. You’ll see where the tube is sealed above the ink, be sure not to cut the entire seal off. Put the ink tube back down in the pen. Pull the Poinsettia head off the flower stem. Put a generous amount of hot glue in the open pen cavity. Quickly, place the flower stem down into the pen. Being wrapping the tape around the pen tube starting at the end closest to the flower. After wrapping down the entire pen tube, place a tiny dot of hot glue under the end of the tape to ensure it won’t unwrap later. That’s it! Quick and easy!
