  • Craft glue
  • Markers
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Printed template

Instructions:

Download, print and cut out the pattern pieces.

Choose colored craft papers for each item. Trace the patterns on the chosen papers, then cut the pieces out.

For the Jesus figure, take the hair and head cutouts. Use an X-Acto knife or pair of scissors to cut a slit along the marked line on the hair.

Insert the top end of the head under the slit and glue the hair to the head.

Attach the swag cutout diagonally across the cloth robe.

Attach the hand cutouts to the open ends of the sleeves and glue the head to the top of the robe.

For the empty tomb, attach the smaller part of the tomb to the bigger part.

Attach the tomb’s opening near the bottom edge of the smaller rock.

For the cross, attach the vertical and horizontal cutouts to complete the cross shape.

For the palm leaf, fold the palm leaf cutout in half, then make accordion folds along the tips.

Unfold it to give the leaf a nice, realistic shape.

For the angel, attach the hair cutout to the head cutout.

Glue the head to the top of the body cutout, then attach the halo to the top of the head.

Attach the wing cutouts to both sides of the body.

Use markers to draw faces on Jesus and the angel.

Attach each item (angel, Jesus figure, palm leaf, cross, and tomb) to a popsicle stick to complete the Easter Story puppet craft.
