Heart Gnome for Valentine’s Day

Using heart shaped paper cutouts to create Valentine’s Day crafts is a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with kids. Use the free printable template and instructions below to create these fun and festive Valentine’s Day gnomes.
How to make Valentine Heart Gnomes
Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- A pair of scissors
- Markers
- Template
Instructions:
Download and print out the heart gnome template. Cut out all of the pattern pieces.
Select different colored craft papers for the heart gnome crafts.
We’re using different shades of pink and red for this craft to give them a Valentine’s day vibe.
The template includes a hat, a large heart for the beard, shoes, nose, small heart, hands and medium heart for the body.
Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and use a pair of scissors to cut out the traced pieces.
Glue the nose cutout at the bottom edge of the hat cutout.
Glue the hat and nose onto the top edge of the biggest heart.
Glue the shoe cutouts on the medium heart cutout. See the photo below for placement- the medium heart will be facing downwards for the gnome’s body.
Glue the small heart cutout on the beard and then attach the head pattern on the top edge of the body heart piece.
Attach the small hand cutouts on both sides of the small heart cutout, to make it look like the gnomes are holding the small heart with their hands.
Make more heart gnomes using different colored and patterned craft papers for variety.
