Instructions:
Download and print out the Star Wars Bookmark Template. Cut out all the patterns for the Star Wars character (or characters) you’d like to create.
Select colored craft papers for the Star Wars characters.
The template includes patterns for Grogu, Princess Leia, Bobba Fett, Mandalorian, Han Solo and Chewbacca Bookmarks.
Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out.
Let’s start with the Grogu and Princess Leia bookmark crafts.
For the Princess Leia craft, attach the hand cutouts to the sleeve cutouts and attach the hair cutout on the top of the head cutout.
Attach the head on the top edge of the dress cutout.
Attach an arm on one side of Princess Leia’s body, being sure to glue only the top edge of the shoulder. (You’ll need part of the arm and the hand free to slip your book’s page under later.)
Attach the other arm in the same way.
Cut off any extra sleeve hanging too far outside of the dress, as shown below.
Use a marker to draw the eyes, nose and mouth onto Princess Leia’s face.
Now, for the Grogu craft, attach the hand cutouts to the sleeve cutouts.
Attach the Grogu head cutout on the top edge of the robe cutout.
Use a pink marker or gel pen to draw the inner ear parts and a black marker to draw the eyes, nose and mouth onto Grogu.
Take any one of the arms and attach it near the top part of the robe, applying glue only near the shoulder.
Similarly, attach the other arm to complete the Grogu bookmark.
Trace, cut out and paste the pieces of other figures to complete the bookmark set.
To use the Star Wars characters as bookmarks, simply slip an edge of a page under the character’s arms.
