Paper Turkey Craft for Kids

How to make a Thanksgiving Turkey Craft
Supplies:
- Colored papers such as cardstock or construction paper
- Craft glue
- Black marker or pen
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Template
Directions:
Print out the turkey template and cut out all the pattern pieces.
Choose the colored papers you’d like to use for your turkey. Pick fall colors such as red, orange and yellow.
Trace the template pieces on your chosen craft papers then cut them out.
Glue the two feet pieces on the bottom of the body cutout.
Glue the wattle near the bottom side of the head cutout, slightly away from the middle as shown below.
Glue the beak cutout near the wattle.
Glue the individual features onto the tail background piece.
Fill the feather background with feather pieces in any color order you like.
Glue the turkey’s body onto the tail feather piece.
Use a black marker or pen to draw the eyes of the turkey to complete the Thanksgiving craft.
