How to make Oreogasm Poke Cake
First gather your ingredients-
For the cake:
- box chocolate cake mix
- eggs
- water
- vegetable oil
For the filling:
- marshmallow fluff
- water
- Oreos
For the icing:
- heavy cream
- powdered sugar
- Oreos
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9×13 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl add the cake mix, water, vegetable oil and eggs.
Mix until well combined. Pour into prepared pan. Then, place in preheated oven.
Bake 35-40 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven and allow to cool for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
Twist open Oreo cookies, remove the filling, then crush the cookie pieces. You’ll want about half a cup of crushed Oreo cookies.
While the cake is cooking combine 1 tablespoon of water with the marshmallow fluff. Mix together, then microwave for 15 seconds.
Stir well, then add the crushed Oreo cookies.
Pour the mixture all over the cake.
Allow the marshmallow mixture to soak into the cake while making the whipped topping.
*You can ‘cheat’ and swap a 16 oz container of Cool Whip rather than making homemade whipped topping for an even easier dessert.
Now make the whipped topping.
Add heavy cream and powdered sugar to a bowl.
Mix with a mixer until medium peaks form.
Crush cup of whole Oreos, then gently fold them into the whipped cream.
Spread the whipped cream on top of the cooled cake.
Sprinkle extra Oreos and drizzle with chocolate syrup to decorate the cake if you’d like.

Ingredients
- Poke Cake Ingredients
- 1 (16.5oz) box chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 ½ cups marshmallow fluff (crème)
- 1 tbsp water
- ½ cup Oreos, filling removed and finely grounded
- Nonstick baking spray
- Whipped topping Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup crushed Oreo
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F
Spray 9*13 pan with nonstick spray
In a large bowl (or bowl of a stand mixer), add cake mix, 1 cup water, vegetable oil and three eggs.
Mix until well combined (about 3-4 mins) then place into preheated oven.
Bake for 35-40 mins
Remove from oven and let cool.
While the cake is cooling, combined 1 tablespoon of water with the marshmallow fluff.
Stir together, then melt in microwave for 17 seconds.
Stir well, add in ¼ cup grinded Oreo cookies.
Poke holes all over the cake
Pour melted marshmallow mixture over the cake.
Let soak while making the whipped topping.
Whipped topping:
To the bowl of a stand mixer add two cups heavy cream and powdered sugar.
Mix until medium peaks form,
Fold in the Oreos, careful not to deflate the whipped cream
Spread the whipped cream over the top of the cake.
Sprinkle on chopped Oreos and add the halved Oreos.
Drizzle chocolate sauce over top if you’d like!
Notes
You can switch out the homemade whipped cream for a 16 oz container of whipped topping to make this poke cake a little more simple.
