How to Make an Astronaut Paper Bag Puppet
Supplies
- Colored craft papers
- Template
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- A pair of scissors
- Paper bag
Download and print out the pattern. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select colored craft papers and a small paper bag for the astronaut and the moon craft.
Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out.

Take the helmet cutouts and glue the face cutout to the helmet base.

Glue the small rectangle cutout to the middle of the suit and glue the boot cutouts to the bottom edge of the paper bag.

Glue the head and helmet to the flap of the paper bag.

Glue the arms on both sides of the body.

Use markers to draw buttons on the small rectangle.

Take the moon cutout and use a grey marker to draw outline and spots on it. Glue the moon to the flap of another paper bag. If you’d like the moon puppet to be smaller. than the astronaut, simply cut the paper bag shorter.
