How to Make a Witch with a Paper Plate

Materials:

  • Paper Plate
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • Green Craft Paint
  • Craft paper or Cardstock in Black, Orange, Bright Green, Purple & Yellow
  • Craft Glue or a Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors 
  • Black Marker
  • Printed Paper Plate Witch Pattern

Instructions:

Paint the inside of the paper plate with green craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary.

Download and print the witch patterns, then cut out with scissors.

Trace the hair onto orange paper, the hat onto black paper, the hat buckle onto yellow paper, the hat band onto purple paper, and the nose onto green paper.

Cut out the patterns with scissors.

Glue the two hair patterns along the edge of the paper plate, making sure that they meet in the middle.

Outline the witch’s nose with wart using a black marker.

Attach the green nose and two wiggle eyes to the witch’s face with glue.

Attach the hat to the top of the witch’s head with glue. Glue the purple hat band to the hat, and then the yellow buckle on top.

To finish, draw a smile following the curve in the bottom of the plate with a black marker.
