Handprint Eagle Craft
This handprint eagle craft is a fun, festive paper craft to make for the 4th of July, or for an American history unit study.

- Colored craft papers
- Printed template sheet
- A pair of scissors
- Craft glue
- Pencil – to trace the template
- Markers
Instructions:
Step 1:
Download and print out the handprint eagle patterns. Cut out all of the template pieces.
Trace and cut out pattern pieces on colored papers. You can use the template for the handprint shape, or trace and cut out your own hand.
Glue the beak and the blush cutouts on the head cutout, as shown below.
Glue the small hand cutouts on the large hand cutouts and glue the white hand cutout on the bottom edge of the body cutout.
Glue the leg cutouts along the bottom edge of the body.
Glue the wings on both sides of the body.
Glue the head on the top edge of the body.
Use black marker to draw the eyes on the head.
Use matching markers to trace outlines on the eagle.
