Paper Bag Llamacorn Puppet

The Llamacorn is the next Unicorn! If your child love unicorns, she’s sure to love llamacorns too!

This adorable Llamacorn puppet is a fun craft for kids. Simply get a paper lunch bag, print off the llamacorn template, and gather a few other craft supplies you probably already have around the house and create this fun Llamacorn Paper Bag Puppet.

After making this easy Llamacorn Puppet, your child can have fun pretending to be a llamacorn!

How to Make a Paper Bag Llamacorn Puppet

Supplies:

  • Colored craft papers
  • Craft glue
  • Paper bag
  • Black Marker
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Template

Instructions:

Print out and cut out the llamacorn puppet template.

Choose colored papers for your llamacorn. You’ll see the colors we chose below, but feel free to switch out any colors you’d prefer.

Trace the pattern pieces onto the colored papers you chose, then cut out all of the puppet pieces.

Glue the 2 round cheek shapes on both sides of the face cutout, near the bottom side.

Use scissors to trim the extra parts of the round shapes, as shown below.

Glue the face piece in the middle of the head piece.

Glue the inner ear piece in the middle of the larger ear piece.

Glue the small, colorful circles onto the long strip.

Glue the ear pieces at the top, and just behind the head.  

Glue the horn piece on the top and middle of the head.

Use a marker to draw the eyes, nose and mouth of the llamacorn.

Grab your paper bag. Apply glue on the bottom side of the paper bag. 

Glue the llamacorn head on the bottom side of the paper bag.

Flatten the head with the rest of the bag to check how much it covers the body of the bag.

Now, glue the collar strip below the head, on the paper bag body. Keeping the round shapes along the bottom side.  

Such a cute little Llamacorn!
