UFO Craft for Kids

All you need is a clean paper plate, and some basic craft supplies to make this fun and easy UFO craft.
If your child loves all things aliens and UFOs, they’ll also want to make this UFO and alien puppet craft.
How to make a Paper Plate UFO Craft
Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Paper plate
- Craft paint
- Paint brush
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Craft glue
- Markers
- Template
Instructions:
Select a paper plate to use for your UFO craft.
Cut the paper plate in half.
Select a craft paint of your choice and apply a coat or two to the paper plate. Allow the paint to dry.
Download and print out the UFO pattern. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select colored craft papers for the patterns. Trace the patterns onto the colored papers, then cut all the pieces out.
Use a matching marker to draw outline on the alien pattern.
Use a marker to draw eyes on the eye cutouts.
Glue the eye cutouts on the alien pattern.
Glue the teeth cutouts on the mouth cutout.
Glue the mouth on the alien pattern.
Attach the papercraft alien on the UFO glass cover cutout.
Attach the window cutouts on a row, on the painted half paper plate.
Attach the stand cutouts on the bottom edge of the painted paper plate UFO base.
Attach the glass shine piece on one edge of the UFO glass cover.
Use markers to draw outlines on each part of the UFO pattern to give the craft a finished look.
