Outer Space Craft – Alien and UFO
Kids who love all things outer space will love making this super cute Alien and UFO craft! My kids just can’t get enough of creating Outer Space crafts!
This UFO and aliens craft has made for the most fun imaginative play ever since we created them!
Of course, this craft is ever more fun when kids also make the coordinating astronaut, rocket, and space shuttle crafts too!
UFO and Aliens Outer Space Craft for Kids
List of Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Popsicle sticks
- Marker
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Template
Instructions:
Download and print out the alien and ufo template. Cut out all of the pattern pieces.
Select colored craft papers for the UFO and alien puppets.
Trace the alien patterns on the paper you’ve chosen for the alien puppet.
Trace the UFO patterns on any different colored craft papers of your choice but make sure to trace the window sparkle piece on white paper. Cut out the traced patterns using scissors.
Glue the alien head cutout on the top edge of the alien body cutout.
Glue the thin border cutout along the bottom edge of the half circle glass cutout.
Glue the thin curved cutout along the top edge of the UFO’s bottom piece cutout.
Glue the antennas and the eyes on to the alien paper craft.
Glue the stand cutouts on the bottom edge of the UFO’s bottom piece.
Glue the white sparkle shape cutout near the top of the UFO’s glass piece.
Glue the glass on to the UFO’s bottom piece.
Glue the small round cutouts along the bottom part of the UFO.
Use a black marker or gel pen to draw a mouth on to the alien.
If you’d like, use the black marker to trace the outlines of the UFO too.
Glue the alien and the UFO onto craft sticks to complete your Alien and UFO puppet crafts.
