How to make a 3D St. Patrick’s Day Craft
Supplies:
- Assorted colored papers
- Gold paper
- Double sided foam stickers or a piece of craft foam
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Template
Directions:
Print out the template and cut all the pattern pieces out.
Choose colored papers for the rainbow, clouds, pot and coins. Also choose a paper for the background (or you can use a craft canvas).
Trace the cloud shapes on white paper, the rainbow patterns on the colored papers you’d like to use, the pot pattern on black, and trace the coins on golden paper.
Glue the bottom portion of the pot (as shown below), leaving the top open about 1/2 an inch so you can tuck the coins behind the pot later.
Glue the pot onto one side of the background paper.
Stick the 3D foam stickers to the back of the cloud shapes.
If you don’t have foam stickers you can make your own 3D squares by cutting a small piece of craft foam. Glue the foam on the back of each cloud shape.
Stick the small cloud cutout on the top of the big cloud. If you are making your own 3D foam stickers, simply glue the foam piece on the smaller cloud onto the bigger cloud.
Glue the rainbow pieces to the background paper. The ends of the rainbow should go right at the top edge of the pot.
Continue glueing the rainbow pieces onto the background until the rainbow is complete.
Attach the 3d cloud on the other side of the rainbow.
Glue the gold coins onto the background. Slip the first row of coins behind the open edge of the black bot.
Glue the shamrocks onto the background wherever you’d like.
