How to Make a Rocking UFO
List of Supplies:
- Colored cardstock papers
- Colored craft papers
- Pencil
- Craft glue
- A pair of scissors
- Markers
- Printed template
Instructions:
Download and print out the rocking UFO pattern template.
Prepare the UFO craft template by printing and cutting out the patterns.
Select colored cardstock papers for the base and select colored craft papers for the other patterns.
Trace the patterns on the chosen papers and cut out the traced patterns with scissors.
Fold the base circle shape in half.
Attach the base border along the edge of the folded circle. The side with the border attached will be the front of the UFO.
Attach the light cutouts (small round cutouts) along the border of the UFO base.
Take the alien cutouts and attach the antenna cutouts on the top edge of the head.
Glue the head onto the top of the alien body (the narrow side).
Attach the sparkle cutout on the glass cutout near the top edge.
Use matching markers to draw outlines on the glass and the alien pieces. Use a marker to draw the eyes and mouth onto the alien figure.
Glue the alien in the middle of the glass piece.
Glue the glass on the upper edge of the folded UFO base.
Now, you can place the UFO on a flat surface and give it a push to make the UFO rock.
