How to Make a Shark Corner Bookmark
Ready to make your own origami bookmark? Gather your supplies and download the free printable shark craft template. In just a few simple steps, you’ll have your own fierce and fun corner shark bookmark. Let’s get started!
Supplies
- Colored craft papers
- Scissors
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- Markers
- Printed template
Instructions:
Download and print out the shark corner bookmark pattern. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select a colored craft paper for the bookmark and the fin piecess. Select white paper for the teeth and the eye bases, and pink paper for the inside of the mouth.
Fold the square paper in half, diagonally.
Hold the top corner of the top layer and fold it all the way down to touch the middle of the triangle’s long edge.
Fold up the right corner so it touches the top corner of the triangle.
Fold the right flap in half and tuck it down inside the triangle pocket at the bottom of the bookmark.
Flatten the folds.
Follow the same steps to fold the left side of the pocket.
Take the 2 cutouts for the inner part of the mouth. Glue the pink part on to the white part.
Glue the white and pink inner mouth on the bottom triangle portion of the bookmark (the portion free of folds).

Use scissors to cut round edge just outside of the shark’s mouth.
Glue the teeth cutouts inside the folded pocket, as shown below.
Glue the eye cutouts on the triangle part of the bookmark.
Glue the side fins and the top fin to the origami bookmark to complete the shark bookmark craft.
After the glue dries, slip a page into the shark’s mouth to use your craft as a bookmark.
