- Colored craft papers
- Pencil or fabric marking pen
- Template
- A pair of scissors
- Craft glue
- Markers
Instructions:
Download and print out the rocking submarine pattern. Cut pattern pieces out.
Select colored craft paper for the craft. Trace the patterns on the selected papers and cut them out using scissors.
Glue the front part cutout to the round submarine base.
Glue the window glass cutout to the window base. Glue the propeller and the periscope cutouts to complete those patterns.
Glue the window pattern to the center of the submarine base.
Glue the periscope pattern to the top and the propeller pattern to the backside of the submarine base.
Fold the other round cutout in half. Make 1 cm folds on both sides of the strip to secure the rocking part.
Apply glue to the outer surface of the 1cm folded parts and attach them to the inner part of the half-folded round shape (rocking base).
Turn the submarine pattern to the other side. Apply glue on one side of the half-folded round shape.
Glue the rocking base to the submarine base neatly, leveling the border.
Use markers to draw borders.
Place the submarine on a flat surface. Gently push one end and then leave. The submarine will rock for a few seconds.
