Thing One and Thing Two Dr. Seuss Craft
Are you ready to make the cutest Dr. Seuss craft you’ve ever seen? This Thing 1 & Thing 2 craft is sure to delight all the little Dr. Seuss fans in your life!
This Thing 1 & Thing 2 craft is a great choice whether you are celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday, decorating your classroom, or enjoying Seuss Week with your kids.
Thing 1 & Thing 2 Craft
List of Supplies:
- blue craft paper
- red and white cardstock paper
- blue yarn
- craft glue
- pencil
- markers
- scissors
- Template
Instructions:
Download and print out the Thing 1 & Thing 2 template. Cut out all the template pieces.
Trace the body on red cardstock.
Trace the face and circle on to white cardstock.
Trace the hair piece on blue craft paper.
Cut out the traced pieces.
Glue the white circle in the middle of the body cutout.
Use a marker to write “Thing 1” or “Thing 2” on the label.
Use a black marker or gel pen to draw the face onto the Thing 1 or Thing 2 figure.
Cut a small pile of short strands from blue yarn.
Apply glue around the edges of the hair cutout.
Begin placing the yarn strands on the glue one by one.
Continue placing the yarn strands around the hair piece as shown below.
Continue glueing the the blue yarn strands all the way around the blue base.
Glue the head cutout on top of the blue hair piece, covering the edges of hair.
Glue the head on the top edge of the body piece.
Now, follow the steps again to create Thing 2!
