Gather an empty toilet paper roll, some colorful craft paper, scissors, glue, and the free printable template below to create a cute little toilet paper roll peacock with your kids.

How to Make a Toilet Paper Roll Peacock Craft

List of Supplies:

  • Colored craft papers
  • Pencil
  • Craft glue
  • Marker or gel pen
  • Scissors
  • Toilet paper roll
  • Template

Instructions:

Download and print out the peacock template. Cut out the pattern pieces.

Select different shades of green, blue and yellow craft papers for the peacock craft.

Trace the template patterns on the craft papers and cut out the traced pieces.

Glue the small tear drop shaped tail feather cutouts onto the big tear drop shaped tail feather cutouts. 

Glue the wing cutouts on either side of the body cutout.

Glue the eyes and the beak cutouts on to the peacock’s head.

Glue the smaller tail fan cutout on to the big tail fan cutout.

Cut slits on the bottom edge of the tail the same width as the toilet paper roll.

Glue the teardrop shaped feathers onto the peacocks tail fan.

Continue gluing all the teardrop shaped feather pieces onto the tail fan.

Use a marker or gel pen to add details to the tail, if you’d like. 

Cut the empty toilet paper roll in half.

Cover the toilet paper roll with a craft paper that is the same color as the peacock’s body.

Glue the peacock’s body to the front of the toilet paper roll.

Insert the slits of the tail fan onto the top of the toilet paper roll to complete the peacock craft.
