Watermelon Sorbet Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups watermelon, diced 
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar 

Instructions

Cut 4 cups of watermelon into small dices. Be sure to remove any seeds.

In a medium saucepan, bring water and sugar just to a boil over medium-high heat.

Stir until sugar is dissolved to make simple syrup. Remove the simple syrup from heat and allow to cool.

Stir the simple syrup together with the diced watermelon.

Process the watermelon and simple syrup together in a blender or food processor in small batches.

Add the lime juice to the blended fruit mixture. Continue blending until completely smooth.

Pour sorbet mixture into a pan, cover and cool completely.

Freeze overnight (or at least 6 hours) before serving. Leftovers can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

    5. Stir simple syrup together with fruit
    6. Process in blender or food processor in small batches
    7. Add lime juice
    8. Blend until completely smooth
    9. Pour mixture into pan, cover and cool completely
    10. Freeze overnight
    11. Store leftovers in freezer for up to 2 weeks
